If Plum, McBride, and Jefferson learn to play together SAS will have a very potent offense especially if Harrison, Hamby, and de Souza can put up some points.

. . . . . and will be at the bottom of the league in defense.

Well, they'll be fun to watch and will get Wilson in next year's draft, so I guess some good will come out of it.

At least one of them appears to have a high-maintenance agent who sought to intimidate the SAN front office.

I will cut her some slack considering prior to this she has not displayed any diva ish behavior. I'm still puzzled by that whole exchange.

Anybody know the status of Plum and Jefferson? One news clip seemed to imply that Jefferson would play on Saturday. SAS injury report still dated May 4.

No. 1 Pick Kelsey Plum Talks Sexism, Launching T-Shirts & Beating Markelle Fultz

We’ll think we're getting there because one thing changes, but then we're actually further behind. Like, when ESPN posted something about my breaking the scoring record, I remember reading the comments section—which I know you should never do—but it was all like, "Why isn't she in the kitchen?" Or sexual comments. Or like, "It's women's basketball, of course she can break the record." People's perspectives need to be challenged, and if I'm able to help change people's idea of what it means to be a female and play basketball, then, shoot, I want to by all means.

My advice to Kelsey, (and everyone else) - never read the comments section. These are the bathroom walls of the internet.

Yeah, in a similar vein to Randy's advice, 'Hide Chat' is the first button you want to hit when watching anything livestreamed on YouTube.

Holmes makes the opening day roster. McBride temp. suspended. Does Holmes get cut when McBride shows up or someone else?

They have:

PG: Jefferson/Colson
SG: Plum/Holmes/Montgomery
SF: Currie/McBride/Peters
PF: Coffey/Hamby
C: Alexander/Harrison/deSouza

SAS roster showing 13 players but McBride still overseas. I guess we can assume that both Plum and Jefferson will play. Are all the rest of the players on the roster available? Hope they have all at least seen the playbook for a few minutes. SAS website showing the game on NBATv and MSG. Hope the game will be at least close.

This trade was a waste. Ndour didn't show up for Chicago & dos Santos is out for the season for San Antonio.

Had a feeling they'd give up on her sometime soon, but I quite like her as a utility bench option. Plenty of teams in the league where she'd be more useful than what they currently have on the end of their bench.

Surprised Sequoia Holmes stuck instead of Peters.

Probably at least in part due to how short they in the backcourt. Had to cut someone with McBride coming back, but it doesn't mean Plum or Jefferson will necessarily be ready any time soon.

I think the fact that Holmes is a guard helps. Your top 3 players, all guards, started off injured. It's more of an insurance thing than a numbers thing.
