If this injury causes her to miss time on the court, it would probably be the first time since...maybe ever.

In UW's first round NCAA game this year, really early in the game, a bunch of players were diving after a loose ball and somebody landed awkwardly on the back of Plum's leg as she fell forward. She was clearly in pain and a bit slow to get up. Even though she was favoring her injured leg, she did not come out of the game. On the next stoppage, she went to the bench, took off her sock and shoe, and ripped off the tape. The trainer ran back from the locker room with tape and scissors to re-tape Plum's ankle. The horn sounded as the trainer finished up. Plum quickly put her sock and shoe back on, and she did not miss a beat.

She never takes a break, so taking one might do her some good. Wishing for the best for her.

In an interview Coffey talked about going up against Candice Dupree (and regretting not getting to play Catchings) but I agree with Riley who said that she would start as a 4 and then move to small forward.

This is stupid on Riley's part.Playing a greenhorn at a position that is less than optimal just to move them later down the line is idiotic. If SA's not gonna make Coffey the starting SF,continue to bring her off the bench for 22-28 minutes per game. Why run the risk of Coffey getting injured by having her guard bigger, stronger post players ?....I wouldn't want Coffey banging and wrestling with Johnson,Ogwumike,Dolson,Charles,etc......Play your best players at the position that will maximize their production and talent on both sides of the ball.

Is Coffey backing up Hamby at PF? If SAN is going with a 3-guard system, I'm not sure when she'd be starting at SF unless she beats out McBride and Currie.

They way Coffey and Plum looked in the preseason game against dallas, plus Mcbride playing great overseas, the silver stars just might make the playoffs.

Plum sprained her ankle yesterday. MoJeff hurt her ankle two days ago in Turkey, and KMac is going to be in Turkey until at least the 10th and maybe the 13th. They're going to have serious problems getting in sync. Dallas is a terrible defensive team and was missing most of their starters. San An will be lucky to reach double-digit wins.

Game 3 of the Turkish Finals isn't until the 12th (and I presume it's at least a best-of-five, considering the semi-finals were), so it's at least the 12th and maybe longer until McBride (plus Parker, Lavender, Vandersloot and Quigley) will be done.

this has to be addressed with the next CBA , every season we continue to miss alot of the best players in the league due to overseas commitments . In order to make this trend dwindle the money's will need to be disperesed to these players . Giving them the low end of the income will cause a situation like the US women's hockey team & soccer team . I foresee the same happening in the WNBA very soon .

Pay the stars more and you have to pay someone else less, unless there's a significant rise in income somewhere. If you start paying the mid-level or second-tier players significantly less then they're more likely to give up on the WNBA or give other jobs higher precedence. Players like Lavender, Quigley and McBride might end up more likely to miss WNBA time, not less.

It's because the W keeps trying to start earlier and earlier. Two years ago they started the first week in June. Last year they started early because of the Olympics. There's no reason for the W to start this early otherwise.

All the sponsors , TV contracts , new marketing partners and increased revenue & attendance that Lisa talks about would make one think theres money to go around , but then when you realize the trend of those lies being told every year you know its most likely not #SadStory

Any news on "Settlement Grievance" and "Cap Hold Temporary" ? I'm really rooting for Grievance to make the team.

Heard Grievance suffered a terrible head injury in practice going up for a rebound. Concussion protocol listed day to day

I think the last two cuts will be Montgomery & Peters.

Jefferson/Colson
Plum/Holmes
McBride/Currie
Coffey/Hamby/Dos Santos
Harrison/Alexander/DeSouza

It's a shame the rim never has.
