They traded Osahor for SF Hampton

If chicago drafted Davis there'd be no need for Hampton.

It sounds like they may have known about Faulkner's injury before the draft.

I don't think it was that surprising. Hampton is better and when Copper arrives, there's just not enough room for Naj. Sucks but it is what it is.
There might be something big brewing for the frontcourt, btw. Nothing definite but I'm hearing the Sky are in play for an all-star. Watch this space...

I'm starting to think Jankoska and Epps will both be on the roster until Coates returns from injury.

Yes, but not because of Coates. Faulkner is hurt and Sloot will likely be competing in Eurobasket. There is a big lack of ball handlers right now so both will have to make the roster unless Stocks wants Cappie running PG.
If there are no trades and Quigley cannot make it back in time, this is probably what we'll be rolling with to start:
PG Epps/Jankoska
SG Pondexter/Copper
SF Young/Hampton
PF Dolson/Breland/Cooper
C Boyette/Parker/Harris
...yikes.

Are You saying Coates For .....Shoni / Angel / Alex Bentley/ McBride / Lloyd ? You said All star so backcourt players imo with trade bait potentials. All these were 2015 all stars besides Lloyd who played for Team WNBA vs USA last season. Im jus taking a wild guess though. Maybe even sloot and or quigley up for a packaged deal? Sad to see Betnijah go btw

I forgot about ivory ..i keep avoiding D. Rob or any of the minny backcourt bc reeves is a smart lady thats all i will say. But if the all star backourt player was an all star before 2014 then those expectations begin to waiver a bit . Marissa coleman would not shake up much so that leaves Shavonte in which would not make sense either ugh im Stumped someone please call 9-1-1

Glory Johnson's an all-star,and has not yet reported to training camp.
BTW:sigur3 said "Frontcourt",not backcourt.

I know, I know! Dolson, Coates and Copper for EDD! Wrigley must be homesick.

We'll throw in Young, and I'll even throw a welcome back party!

It could fall through. I don't know. And I don't want to throw my sources under the bus here. But I think there's good enough reason to at least speculate because nothing the team has done since trading EDD has made any sense.

Is Sloot out at the beginning of the season? When is she missing games?

As Richyyy likes to point out to me, it depends on when her team is done in Turkey. They have, we think, a five game finals series, the third game of which is supposedly on the 12th. [I know nothing but this is what I have been told] You can hope for a sweep but I don't know how realistic that is. Even with a sweep she won't be back on the 14th without severe jet lag.
BTW: ditto Quigley

And EuroBasket Women is 16-25 June, which presumably Vandersloot will be missing for as well (Quigley is Hungary's other option, but according to awhom111, Sloot was the one named in their training squad). No idea how much beyond that she might miss for training with the team and travel.
Another reason that it was unfortunate to lose Faulkner for the year. |

I'm pretty sure it's been talked about before, but Sloot's giving up on Team USA? Probably because of all the attention Geno was giving Jefferson? But Geno's gone now, so....

Vandersloot's already played for Hungary in the qualifiers, and is therefore now ineligible to play for the USA. |
