awhom11, thanks for the insight on the Holmes question. After we lost Hayes and Henry for 5 games to Azerbaijan a few years ago, you can't be too careful.

Yeah, that was pretty rough. Israel did not qualify for this summer anyway, so I guess we can expect a full season of Alysha Clark, who is a citizen.

awhom111, you must keep tabs on all manner of basketball websites to produce all of this - have you seen anything about where the FIBA Women's World Cup games will be played next year? Obviously Spain are the hosts, but I'm hoping for a little more specificity than that. Thinking about a little late-summer holiday...

I looked around for more information, but could not find anything. Considering venues for some events this summer have not been picked yet, I guess we should not expect to know more.

At the Asian level, she's versatile, but not particularly elite at anything. WNBA inquiry or just a general question?

It was mainly a WNBA inquiry.

Don't have much hope for Gyor, as they just barely beat Miskolc. This without Prahalis, who left the team, and Ruffin-Pratt, who was injured. It's unfortunate, Sammy's numbers were not good on this team, but this team did not know how to use her at all, and put her in in weird spots. Just not a good situation overall.

She left her team at the start of the playoffs??

Yeah before the playoffs started. "Left the team" maybe doesn't sound good and probably not completely accurate. Maybe "her and the team mutually decided to part ways" would be more accurate, but that was kind of long.
