Jackson said she felt abandoned by the same teams that supported her while she was playing.

I didn't see any mention in the article, but if Jackson is susceptible to depression, she may have an additional source with postpartum after having a baby.

Hope the Storm reach out to her.

What was she looking for from the teams? Employment?

I doubt that as LJ always battled with homesickness and her dream has always been to start a family. But it wouldnt suprise me that the Storm not reaching out enough to her is also a result of Karen Bryant not being in charge anymore. There is a different mindset going on more business like

I thought she was also involved with an Aussie team in some capacity. Did that go away as well?

Wouldn't she actually have to live in Seattle to get a job with The Storm?

Not necessarily....Seattle has multiple australian players.Bishop/O'Hea could work with Lauren in Australia during the wnba offseason,It would tremendously improve their games.Abby definitely needs the help. And who says Lauren isn't willing to work overseas(Seattle) for part of the wnba season ?

Sounds like someone who may not have been aware of the charmed life basketball allowed her to live.

And what negatives did that charmed life bring. A body tackled by injuries and almost have to worry if you can play some basketball with your kids someday because your knee is so fucked up.

People forget easily what she went through so that she could suit up for the Opals, Capitals and the Storm

In case anyone here is interested, I've uploaded the TV programs that the article above, and the more recent one, are based on.

The Insight one is less structured, with Lauren contributing several times throughout the 2 episodes. On Four Corners she has her own segment that starts at 36:40.
