I'll be there - hoping to see Michigan cut the nets down for the first time in any championship!

Enjoy and good luck to Michigan!

I was able to take a bus to Michigan State in 2008 for the Marquette-MSU WNIT final and it was fun to root MU onto victory and see them cut down the nets.

O'Neill pretty brutal in terms of the pushing and shoving.

Flaherty definitely deserved the retaliation call. Michigan isn't shooting well, but I have a feeling they are going to outlast GT due to the foul differential.

This is obviously a far cry from the blowout they had in the ACC/B1G game in December.

With a driving layup, @kateflaherty24 has now topped the 2,000-point mark for her career. 2nd Wolverine to do that. #goblue

Thome is such a nice, onomatopoetic name for a post move.

What a shot by Flaherty. I thought she was trying too hard to force the shot how she kept stepping back and back and not passing but amazing shot.

Michigan fouls Ga Tech's center with like .5 seconds left. What a bad idea, this small PG isn't going to block the center's shot or anything.

Why did GA Tech put no players on the line? Every FT she shoots probably has her teammates on the line, this is probably an unusual feeling for her. Its not like there is enough time for Michigan to rebound and dribble up the court.

Just having the 1 GT shooter and 4 Michigan players in the lane may have just felt weird to her.

Siera Thompson showed promise her underclassman seasons but man, she has been BAD this season. Just terrible decision making in this game.

Triple OT.

Michigan has only gone 7 deep. GA Tech has gone like 9 deep but one player has fouled out and two have four fouls.

Michigan wins an entertaining triple OT game. Now can the parlay this into an NCAA bid next year, or is the late loss of their standout freshman guard going to leave too big of a hole? One thing to miss her for a few NIT games, another to miss her for the whole season, including conference play.

That's the mystery, apparently. Was Gondrezick "fired", suspended, or did she quit the team, or has she announced her intention to transfer? Nobody seems to know, but she wasn't there and apparently won't be next year, per "sources".

It's not a mystery. People around the program know. I hoped that the situation didn't become a distraction during the WNIT run. They had to change the offense, the rotation and even some positions to make up for her departure, but they survived.

The later posts in this thread concur with what I've been told:
