Logic still lives for basketball
Quote:
After six months in Australia playing for the Adelaide Lightning in the Women’s National Basketball League, Samantha Logic is hoping for a call. The 2011 Case High School graduate wants another shot in the Women’s National Basketball Association.
“I’m playing until I’m broken, that’s for sure,” said the 24-year-old Logic. “I want to be at the highest level I can be at and I think the WNBA is what the highest level is, outside of the Olympics. The desire is still there. I still think it’s the best job in the entire world.”

Halftime in the deciding Game 3 of the EuroLeague Women quarter-final between Nadezhda and Prague right now. Nadezhda up big early despite being without Zahui B, lead whittled down to 3 at the break. Live and free here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZvKLcRWm4s

The decider in the other series that went to three games, Fenerbahce-Avenida, starts in a couple of hours. Should be here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Juz9NzgxuYM

Congrats to Mo, Jonquel and their squad on the championship!! It is good to see Amber Harris doing well. Any idea if she will make it back to the W anytime soon? As always, thank you for the updates and please tell Mo "Happy Lent!" She is quite missed on social media! Laughing

Ohhh, that EuroCup Women matchup between Galatasaray (MoJeff, Alben) and Yakin Dogu (McBride, Essence, Slooty, Hollingsworth, Leuchanka, A. Robinson) seems like it was good! I may have to check out the stream!

The info from the Israeli league shows Holmes having an Israeli passport. Does anyone know if that is accurate? Could she become a member of their National Team?

Where do you see that? I looked on the league website and there do not appear to be nationality markings for any of the players. I have seen them label incorrectly for the men's second division before. It seems improbable because her team would then sign a third foreigner if she was not taking up one of their slots.

The picture shows 3 other players with the US flag, Hopkins, Adams and Baron.

That's not an official site. It looks like they have not marked Baron, Diamant, or Feder as Jewish and thus entitled to play as non-foreigners, which they all are. Looking at some other teams, they messed up on a few too like Shafir who is not American at all.

Sheesh Hanna Zavecz. I gave an ode to your career last year and then you decided to un-retire this year.

awhom11, thanks for the insight on the Holmes question. After we lost Hayes and Henry for 5 games to Azerbaijan a few years ago, you can't be too careful.
