Siera Thompson showed promise her underclassman seasons but man, she has been BAD this season. Just terrible decision making in this game.

Michigan has only gone 7 deep. GA Tech has gone like 9 deep but one player has fouled out and two have four fouls.

Michigan wins an entertaining triple OT game. Now can the parlay this into an NCAA bid next year, or is the late loss of their standout freshman guard going to leave too big of a hole? One thing to miss her for a few NIT games, another to miss her for the whole season, including conference play.

That's the mystery, apparently. Was Gondrezick "fired", suspended, or did she quit the team, or has she announced her intention to transfer? Nobody seems to know, but she wasn't there and apparently won't be next year, per "sources".

It's not a mystery. People around the program know. I hoped that the situation didn't become a distraction during the WNIT run. They had to change the offense, the rotation and even some positions to make up for her departure, but they survived.
