I totally underestimated MSU all year. Congrats to them.

And while it will be really hard for UConn, I'm sure it will be used as inspiration to start the next streak and you can be pretty sure there will be another one coming up.

Gabby Williams is one heck of a player.

And that flop by Katie Lou was seriously bogus. She should be ashamed and I hope the refs get schooled over that one.

I think this equates with the Miracle on Ice in Lake Placid in 1980.

I don't know why you assume that. I'm expecting MissSt to win on Sunday.

Why is that? SC beat them twice already, once without Coates.

That was the right call. That said, this is the most poorly officiated game I can recall.

Can you recall the last game where UConn was on the ropes in such a big stage? That may be why....

I will say about Lobo, she has been less of a homer in the past few years. It just seems that way because UConn had the streak. Doris is more the homer and she didn't even go there. (Insert Mean Girls GIF)

This will be good for UCONN in the long run. They managed to slide by undefeated even when they played horribly....this should be the wake up call they need to really understand that they can't get by with only one player showing up.

I'm SO glad that last second flagrant foul didn't hand UCONN the game.

Congrats to Miss St!

They do realize that it was a different UConn team that beat Miss State last year in the tournament, right?

and a pox on UConn and especially that Samuelson for the acting job on the flop...

I know what the rule is....but a player has a right to have her arms up....there has to be clarification on this rule....the person supposedly fouled was much taller and the smaller player has no recourse but to keep her arms up....it used to be called defense....

happy for the upset!

Thank you it was incidental contact lol Doris and espn should have at least acknowledged the floppage!

Yes, and she shouldn't get an acting award either, it was a terrible acting job. Those refs....but at least they didn't get to decide the game, for which we should all be grateful.

Doris needs to be sent to the sidelines for her commentary. I'm so SICK of her! And Lobo looks like she wants to go home and be sick. Oh well.

Typical Conway, that is why you got your ass razzed on other boards. No class. How about a mention to the great game the bulldogs play. Dope.

I got my ass razzed on other boards by you and other UConn fans because I championed the SEC in WCBB. Now it is an All-SEC Championship Finals. How bout that dope for ya??

Send her back to the nba although NBA fans can't stand her either.

I think Miss St is playing significantly better basketball in the tournament than they played all year. They're playing differently. They've beaten DePaul, Washington, Baylor, and now UConn in a row. I question whether SCar would have won that streak of games.

They're hot. And they won't be the first team to get on a roll in the post season and win out. It's happened in the men's tournament numerous times.

MSST got 67 shots to UConn's 46.

That's a lot of extra chances.

OBoards were 15-6 in MSST's favor.

Fouls were MSST 23, UConn 15.

Free throws were MSST 13 and UConn 25.

the "rule" on flagrant fouls has to have a little wiggle room in it...incidental contact especially while defending with no intent whatsoever has to get a pass....

it wasn't a chop, or a slam, or a hard hit...it was a nothing....

and maybe, flopping should be looked at as a foul itself....
