Deflecting from the truth.

I didn't see the things you were talking about. She made a step thru move. And there's been contact at both ends. Therefore it seems like sour apples. But perhaps I'm just projecting since that's the kind of things I say when 'my' team is playing. For instance I thought Arike got away with several offensive fouls today that weren't called. And I'm sure Notre Dame fans didn't see it that way.

VV shooting better than I can ever remember seeing. Grats to MSU for playing a lot better than I expected.

Baylor is shooting 58.6% and losing, who would have thought that?

MSU is at 43%

This is basically Brown & Davis vs. Vivians & Williams.

But MSU is 4-9 from 3 while Baylor is just 1-6. That's the difference.

Prince doing a lot of the ball handling for Baylor. I'm more and more intrigued by her as a prospect everytime I see her play.

Well, and Baylor has 9 turnovers compared to 1 for MSU.

That's because MSU got off nine more shots, which was largely due to the 9-1 disparity in turnovers.

MSU has got to do better inside on both offense and especially defense.

Well fought 1st half. Wallace with 3 fouls could hurt Baylor. She seems to be the type of player who is always involved, doing little things and is a good 3 pt shooter.

Baylor losing the turnover battle 9-1.

Baylor is +8 on the boards but MSU keeping them off the offensive glass. MSU is +1 there.

Its crazy how deep Baylor is at center. Mompremier and maybe Cox are starting at a ton of high majors in my opinion. Brown is only a sophomore so what will they do, play Cox at the 4 when Davis graduates? Mompremier I don't think is skilled enough to play the 4 but she is really talented in her own right. Tough situation

Why do they insist on having the wrong sides of the brackets play on the same day?

I'd rather watch this type of game than the first game today.

I didn't see the supposed Brown travels.

Hope we see more than a few Brown-McGowan match-ups the next 2 years.

VV takes too many too-soon shots, imo.

Baylor had better come out in the 2nd half on fire. They've turned the ball over 2 many times, maybe they should give MS a taste of their own medicine and trap them. Wallace needs to stay of the sidelines with the ball and her team needs to be more aggressive in their effort to help.

Let's go Sic'em Bears!

Mompremier was starting games at the beginning of the year. But I thought even then that it was clear that Brown was the better player. Yeah, I think Cox does play the 4 next year. And Mompremier gets minutes off the bench. Playing cupcakes, she gets more minutes. In real games, less.

She's from Miami. Katie Meier's team is undersized, she'd probably play 30+ MPG there. If Cox is at the 4, she is basically a backup her whole career, surprising to me.

Back to the game, MSU up 3 with 4:58 left in the 3rd. Wallace has 3 fouls for BU, McCowan has 3 fouls for MSU. Both key players

Brown is much improved, but I agree she sometimes gets away with happy steps.

Should that have been an offensive foul on Richardson when she drove on Mompremier? Looked like she pushed off

Vivians FT violation when Baylor missed a FT. In a close game you hate to see that if you are MSU.

Luckily for MSU Baylor missed the next FT.

Baylor up 1, 50 seconds left in the 3rd. Just when MSU was taking control, Baylor goes on a 7-0 run
