Charlie Creme and Graham Hays both tweeting about low attendance in Lexington the last two years and that there will be another next year. Very interesting. Gotta think where regionals occur should be looked at, but realize it isn't the easiest solution.

Small attendance is one thing but then just play the game in smaller venues. Playing at Rupp is just pointless if the demand isn't there.

A small crowd in itself isn't horrible, if you have 3k fans in a 5-6k venue it can still be a good environment. But in a venue that seats 18k+ its a little too much.

I really feel for the ND players. It's easier to lose by 20 than by 1 in a game like this. Well played by all.

I think it'll look like this:

#1 UConn vs. #1 Baylor
#2 Stanford vs. #3 Florida State

but it very easily could look like this:

#1 UConn vs. #2 Mississippi State
#2 Stanford vs. #1 South Carolina

Very interesting. Now if somehow Oregon can open this sucker wide open. Twisted Evil

Final four taking points...

#1-Uconn winning streak

#2-Samuelson family...and rightfully so.Two daughters from one family playing in the final four is a great accomplishment.

Yeah if it turns out that way its too bad that in my estimation the top two teams left in the tourney are on the same side of the bracket. UConn-Baylor would face each other one round earlier than I'd want

I'm just hoping for a close game.Uconn losing to a team with 6 freshman would be an absolute shock.

thank you. I had to go run off some adrenalin after that one. I was so sure it was over at the half and had resigned myself to that. These guys are the heart attack team.

(No one ever sez Myrtlicious is stupid, and for good reason. Wink Cool )

Yes, this game was a classic: not the MOST exciting, thrilling one on record, but a game of 2 tough teams that could make the adjustments their world-class coaches demanded. Play by play. One just came out on the short end. I do believe EITHER team would have a good crack at taking SC down.

Let's not guarantee SC into the Final 4. FSU should be a tough matchup without Coates.

I wasn't all that impressed with FSU against OrSU. Romero was great and Weise sucked offensively and that was the difference. Thomas didn't really impress. I think Wilson will roll over/around her with no problem and am guessing the FSU bigs will be in foul trouble ere long. They seem big'ish but not very skilled.
