Ionescu is such a baller. Kinda early, but #1 in 2020? Holmes fanatics will probably disagree.
And it came down between Oregon and Washington for her services.

Fraser is a bull in the house. She should get an O-foul every time.

The problem with Maryland is that Jones and Slocum are not good defenders in space. So it's hard from them to double at the top of the key then recover. Both players lack leteral speed and quickness.

Oregon lead down to 6, 3 minutes to go.

Huge bucket by Ionescu to make it a 8 point game.

Wow, suspect call against Maryland away from the ball on a screen. Oregon ran into the screener, should be an Oregon foul.

These turnovers are really killing Maryland. They are forcing passes and Oregon is just taking them.

The Frazer call? I thought Frazer moved at the last second.

Oregon up 12 with 48 seconds left. Impressive win by Oregon.

If they didn't upset Washington late in the year, do they even make the tournament? Then they almost lost in round 1 to Temple. Shows how small the margin of error is.

This loss withstanding, impressive careers for those two Maryland seniors. They really developed in college because I don't recall hearing much about them as recruits.

After all the complaints about tickets a lot of Maryland fans saved money and travel time. Wink

I think that is an issue regardless of win or loss, that is something that should be looked at. It only doesn't look worse because 2 west coast teams are in Bridgeport and there is low demand for tickets. If you had a regional of something like UConn, Duke, Maryland, and Quinnipiac it would truly be sad if all the fans except UConn were basically shutout.

I was going to mention that possibility when that whole foo-furah started, but really didn't think Oregon had a chance...

An easy and convincing win for the Ducks, who arguably played the Terps better than UConn did.

Now, the entire nation must unite behind rooting for Oregon and FSU to be in the NC game.

Yes, they'd be one of the last teams in still. If they had lost to Arizona the game before, they'd be close.

I wonder what would've happened if Oregon was the #9 in Waco and Cal the #10 in Durham. Would Oregon have made history if not for some seed-shifting?

So how often has Brenda underachieved in the Tourney? Add this as another prime example.
