Should be a good battle. Who has improved more since Stanford beat Texas early in the season?

I think Texas may have, because they were pretty terrible at the beginning of the season. I think they are fairly evenly matched at this point. Stanford's got the edge in coaching and defense. Texas has the edge in athleticism and offensive talent. Both teams have heart/grit. Both teams have been inconsistent, so the mental game could decide it. If both teams bring their A-game, I give it to Stanford because of coaching.

Texas has better talent and Stanford the better coach.

I lean toward coaches in the tournament.

LET'S GO CARD!

Texas scares me though. They have more players who can create something out of nothing.

Holmes of Texas needed out of the game due to being gassed 5 minutes into the game!

WTF is wrong with these teams.

I can't figure out who I want to win this game. Texas is do damn big which is really a problem for ND without Turner. But they play dumb most of the time. The Texas guards don't worry me. Talented, but not effective team play.

Stanford is smaller and thus physically a better matchup for ND, but plays a lot smarter at both ends of the floor and much better team basketball.

Can't figure out who I would rather see Notre Dame face.

Stanford is so woefully out-talented here, except for the coach.

Why is McCall being dumb and shooting 3s?

All things being equal, Tex should win easily.

Art- I'd rather play Stanford because their D only works against teams that don't have multiple 3-pt threats.

The Cardinal are clearly better coached, but if they beat Texas, Tara will have less time to prepare for the Irish than last season. I think if you give Tara a lot of time, they are scary. I would rather ND faces Stanford in E8 because of the huge size advantage Texas would have.

I really like to watch Stanford play. They are so well-coached. They just play smart.

She is slow as mollases. But she still looks like a star compared to Caron-Geudreau.

Holmes is for real, though.

Holmes is on the bench....again.

And the Texas coach says her team lacks urgency. Final Four in Texas and no urgency lol.

I think we're seeing why Texas might be an easier matchup despite their size.

Lang is so bad she goes over the back even when she has no chance to get the board.

Texas doesnt even get a shot off.

ND is just SO small!

Don't get me wrong, I think ND will beat either opponent. But Texas' size scares me. ND doesn't want to depend on Nelson.

Classic Aston. Texas doesn't even attempt a shot with over seven seconds. Has the ball in hands of the wrong players and they pass twice while the clock expires.

Bring on Texas. Very Happy

Darn spell check on this tablet!

My guess is that she already has the plan in place, but yeah, less time for the team to get it.
