Potential OSU-ND game would be great. Turner going up against McCoy and Hart. Allen vs. Mitchell. A lot of talent in that one

McGraw vs. former assistant McGuff.

I doubt if Allen will guard Mitchell. At least not until the 4th quarter. It will likely be Ogunbowale and Young and Johnson sharing the job.

Now Ogunbowale and Mitchell is an interesting matchup too.

Ohio State stays bad at managing the clock, but give McGuff credit for going to the big lineup in the 4th. McCoy brought the game back in their favor.

Kentucky overachieved this year. Still wonder why Harper left, she comes off the bench at OSU, would be playing 30+ MPG at UK. But with Akhator and Epps graduating, Mitchell is going to be in rebuild mode. Not recruiting the same caliber of player they had been maybe the past 5-6 years.

Feel for Epps and Akhator, those are two gamers right there. Love their effort. Epps could have easily transferred when the UK exodus occured but she stuck with it.

Mitchell's a great talent, but her shot selection is just terrible.

Who would have thought last November that Ky would ever have been seeded higher than Ohio St.

I am not surprised that Kentucky lost this game. They barely won their last game so I kind of thought they would lose this one.

Congrat's to Ohio State. I don't believe they will beat Notre Dame though.

Akhator stock might have gone up a little despite the loss.

She's a little reminiscent of Dev Peters for me.

Me too. I'm a huge Epps fan. She's like the Energizer Bunny. She should have a good career in the WNBA. And I don't think she ever would have left UK. Remember, her dad played there. It's a family thing. It's genetic.

Don't be too sure Mitchell won't recruit some great players. They'll be a different kind of great, though, with a little less ego than some of those who left, I would be willing to bet, and more team oriented.

Every time I see her, she looks shorter. Very Happy She's an amazing rebounder but still offensively challenged...kinda similar to Nina Davis in that regard. She actually kind of reminds me of GloJo but I think she's not as tall as her.

I could definitely see Lin Dunn's influence on this team in terms of more organization rather than total flying by the seat of the pants. I think If they get the right recruits, she and Mitchell could be a really good team.
