I think so. Makes it harder to set up something.

Clock starts when touched, so pretty much on the catch of the rebound. If you're airborne or with your back to the other end, game over. Pretty much no way to get a shot off in time.

If you get to inbound the ball, you can throw it the length of the floor and hope for a make.

If you try and make the FT, and you do, a miracle 3 ties. If you try to make it and miss, clock runs out. If you try to miss and catch iron, clock runs out. If you try to miss and throw an airball, as she did, a miracle 3 will beat you.

So, try and make the FT.
