Just meant the post matchup, don't think Cal can hang with Baylor overall.

For Cal it will be a lose-y.

If Anigwe plays like this, Brown will make mincemeat of her.

Fargas has one year left at LSU and I think that'll be it for her. The coaching battle between her and Gottleib was painful to watch.

Anigwe always does poorly against larger heftier post players. At a Washington game, it was noted that she often went up against Osahor in high school and has never beaten her.

I thought about that "too expensive to buy her out" nonsense when IU paid $4 million to fire Tom Crean this week - a coach that won the Big Ten two of the last four years. And yet every time there's a bad women's coach everyone says "oh we have to let her contract run out because it would take two or three hundred thousand to buy out her contract".

So they let women's coaches who perform a lot worse than Crean hang around for years.

It's ridiculous.

LSU womens basketball lost more money than any other sport at the school. Even with a losing coach, mens basketball pulled a 2 million dollar profit. Womens basketball LOST almost 4 million. Think about that for a second. With that kind of loss, do you really think that an AD will buy out a coach and throw an additional 700K on top of the fire. Admittedly, the AD is the one who agreed to the ridiculous terms, but it makes zero sense, economically, to fire Fargas at this point. She has a strong recruiting class coming in and they at least got into the tournament, which was an improvement over last year, but she's proven she was hype, smoke and mirrors when she came from UCLA. I think when she's let go, she's not going to have great luck finding another coaching job because her price is so high and the results have been so lackluster.
