| How is it that a team like Hampton, ranked 240th, is seeded 15th, plays Number 2 Duke while Albany ranked 179th and, seeded 16th, plays the overall number one team in UCONN.

I didn't see it but their PG is sophomore Kyra Lambert? Duke is pretty fortunate that they have a high level player in Lexie Brown who played PG for two years at Maryland. She could play PG in a pinch.

Geography. Neither teams has a sniff of a chance, so why pay for charter air when an easy bus ride works for both. And maybe their families can come see them play.
What's the point of flying Hampton to Storrs and Albany to Durham.
BTW, Duke is winning by 52 in the third quarter. What difference does it make?

In 2015, Duke played Albany in the NCAA tournament and barely won, I think they hit like a game winner with a few seconds left. So I guess it could matter.
In general I am in favor of seeding close to the S Curve as possible.

| 80-18 was actually a larger lead than Baylor held on Texas Southern earlier.
