Hmmm.

This could be Oklahoma's toughest First Round in a few years; there was that epic 104-100 loss to DePaul--a 7/10 matchup in '2014, I believe.

But. Gonzaga will be on their 'home' turf. They've beaten Stanford. AND lost to BYU, which OK has beaten. Manning controls Barta? Sooner guards are 'on' from the perimeter? ViVi stays out of foul trouble AND scores? Go Sooners!

I would venture to say that Spokane is closer to Seattle than either Norman or Bozeman is. I would also venture to say that there are more Gonzaga alumni in the vicinity of Seattle than there are Oklahoma or Montana State alumni. I might even venture to say that there are more people in Seattle with a rooting interest in Gonzaga than there are with one in Montana State or in Oklahoma.

I know y'all got used to either hosting games or taking advantage of Wazzu hosting games, but if you think that arena will be truly neutral for Oklahoma, I think you'll be very wrong.

I really expected more from the Zags...but when I saw that Wazzu beat BYU at BYU, I suspected the WCC must be down this year.

Pretty much did the trick, eh? Hitting 10 3s, in combination with the Zags cold shooting saved the day. Now, then....next? Shocked
