How overrated was the PAC12 this year, and how much of a cakewalk does ND have?

New Mexico State, the 15 seed, is up 38-31 at halftime over 2 seed Stanford.

Erica McCall is 1-3 and has 4 points thus far.

What happened? I Saw NMSU got an offensive rebound and hit a 3 to end the half? Was following live stats, the online stream is too far behind real time so not watching it right now.

It looks like not only the Big West, but the WAC are as good as the PAC-12!
Now, watch the biggest margin of victory by a PAC-12 team in the first-round end up being Cal over LSU (probably will be Washington over Montana St though).

So far, the P(aper-tiger)12.

A very competitive league. But is it elite?

As we saw from last year's NCAA Tournament, the only league with any elite teams is the American. Smile

43-43 with 4:27 left in the 3rd. NMSU is in trouble, losing that 7 point lead so quickly is tough for a 15 seed to recover from.

Potential flagrant foul on Stanford, refs checking the monitor. NMSU could use some easy points from the line as the offense has struggled in the 3rd quarter, only 5 points.

I guess parity has infiltrated the game to a certain extent.

We never used to have interesting games in the first round, usually, other than an 8/9.

So flagrant didn't help too much. NMSU hit both FT's but then turn it over after they inbound the ball. Stanford gets a 3 point play and the lead.

46-45 Stanford, 3:30 left in the 3rd.

Anytime Stanford has taken the lead, NM State has scored right away to take it back.

End 3 | New Mexico State 49, Stanford 48

Moriah Mack for NM State has 4 fouls.
