The charge against her seems to have shifted the momentum

Slocum had like a 3 on 1 or 4 on 1 fast break and traveled trying to do a no look pass. A little too much pizzazz for my liking. This is a championship game, make the simple pass and get the bucket.

Morrissettee just got her ankle on a play where no foul was called but it looked like one should have been. Will be interesting to see how Purdue's offense operates without her. This is a major setback.

Perry just got her 1,000th career point. Purdue down 13 with a minute left.

Maryland up 57-46 after 3 thanks to a Morrissette bucket right before the 3rd quarter buzzer. That's two buzzer beaters for Purdue, 2nd and 3rd quarters.

Purdue lost to Maine and Southern Illinois? Man, this is an impressive turn around when you consider where they started the season. I forgot about those losses.

How many shots have been banked in during the B1G Tourney?
Seems like a lot.

Purdue on a 6-0 run, down 13 with 4 to play. Time for one more push?
8-0 run now, 11 point game. Maryland settling for bad shots and turning the ball over.

In football terms, Maryland went into prevent defense too early. The offense is so conservative now, and Purdue is making a run.

Interesting game, with some flashes of brilliance, imo.
Kudos to MD, AND to Purdue for a tough challenge. Their last half of the season has been pretty awesome. I STILL say the Big Ten is the conference with the most DEPTH this year, with a 'mid-section' of really strong teams (MI, MI-State, Purdue, IA, IN) that oughtta be in the Big Dance.

Seriously?... The Big Ten is ranked 6th in conference RPI, behind the American; the whole conference has like 5 wins vs top 25 RPI schools all year, combined.
If anything, the quality in the Big Ten seems down from last year -- and they didn't show very well in the Dance then....
This season, Michigan has only beaten Purdue and Indiana (but lost to Xavier!); Indiana's best wins are Michigan and Purdue (but lost to Nebraska!); Mich. St. did beat Ohio St, and then its next best are Mich., Indiana and Quinnipiac (but lost to Nebraska and Rutgers!!)
The Pac-12 has more depth in the middle -- for example, 6th place-in the Pac Oregon beat 6th place-in the Big Ten Mich St. by an easy 3pts in pre-conference play. And if those mid-Big Ten schools played in most any other power conference, I'm guessing their records would've suffered even more.
