That doesn't explain why they drafted Sancho Lyttle...

Let me be the first, and probably last & only person to say that I'm not unhappy with that.

Maybe after constantly screwing over the careers of various point guards, Van has finally decided he actually doesn't need one.

Let me be the first, and not last, to say NO, NO, NO...they are going in the right direction...why back up?

My only hope is that she doesn't survive camp.

I think Tiff is a servicable backup center in limited minutes. There is much worse out there. In her best years, Tiff averaged the same as Nakia Sanford who is looked up much more highly.

On a personal note, I'd rather have her than Donaphin.

Polyann Johns-Kim. would have been a better signing.

When I first heard this, I had the same reaction as Smoovie. However, I just have to keep Cappie, Seimone, and Monique in mind.

Tiff Johnson is over paid and under achieving at this point. Any other team that wanted her, could have had her, since she has been on the FA board the entire time. Obviously, no one else wants her. I agree with the post about rather having Pollyanna Johns-Kimbrough...far better athlete...hell, at least PJK is an athlete.

When #00 was given the responsibility last season of inbounding the ball in a crucial point in a game, and she threw it in and hit THE SIDE OF THE BACKBOARD AND CAUSED THE BALL TO GO OUT OF BOUNDS AND BACK TO THE OTHER TEAM...well, that's when her uselessness was set in stone for me. She has far too much experience for that kind of blunder.

I thought about this last night and I can only think that this signing is some kind of payback to Van for letting Tom Cross and Carroll Dawson have superior input during the draft last week-end. I have always wondered what Tiffani has on Chancellor to keep her roster spot...it certainly isn't tied to her performance. If I performed at my job as ineffectively and inconsistantly as she does, I certainly wouldn't expect to get 60-70 grand a year and keep it.
