The trouble is that I don't think the Lynx organization realizes how close Maya is to the MVP. They don't seem to be doing anything promotional to help her cause, which is important because the panel could be swayed by promotion. Maybe they think a MVP promotion could be distracting to the team, and the team goal is the most important one.
