Love the chess match stuff. Of course the Aussies are working on stopping EDD, so Geno counters with Stewart and EDD out there at the same time.

Imagine an "small" lineup with Catch at the 4, EDD or Charles at the 5, Moore + Angel on the Wings, with Staley picking the better matchup of Bird or Taurasi. Combine the Fever's champ run lineup idea, with a current Merc-style switching on the perimeter D.

Twisted Evil lil' bit of trash talk before this game.
The fiba link says : "The game hasn't started yet."
Oh yeah? "The game is OVER, and it hasn't started yet."

(bad me don't do that)

The small line-up with Catch at the 4 will only help the Opals. So that is not really a good move. They get in trouble with the big line-up and when they force Burton/Jarry/Hodges to guard EDD

Just force them to deal with guarding a screen (or two) and it doesn't even matter who is guarding who -- Catch, EDD, Geno, Carol Callan, anyone could slip that defence.

She just doesnt know what she is talking about. Sue Bird was complaining to the ref that the player grabbed her arm on that foulcall and AMD starts blabbing about Sue getting away with that stuff in the WNBA bla bla.

She got 2 fast fouls and Stewart came in and scored 9 pts in nearly 6 minutes

Is that name really pronounced Stank-o-vic, or is this another AMD-ism?

Cannot play a player 1:40 in first half and then expect that person to have a feel for the game in the 2nd half.

She will get her minutes against Canada. Dont worry.
Angel got only 5 minutes in the first half because Taurasi was on fire and Geno kept her in with Augustus and Whalen

Then that player shouldn't have committed two fouls in 1:40.

Also her defense hasnt been that great smaller players and posts are driving past her for layups

And this is why starting EDD at SF would be a bad move.

She got some severe ankle breakage on a play. Those ankles probably needed some tending.

Yeah Milovanović put her on her butt with a nice hesitation/inside out dribble to the basket Laughing
