. . . . to some who regularly exhibits their total direspect and dislike of Diggins. |
Your memory must be failing you. It's not like you to deliberately paint an inaccurate picture. *sarcasm*

This kind of conversation brings me back to 7th grade.

Lucky she's not wasting her time on the Olympics. If Nike basketball had their druthers, wouldn't they rather choose somebody who's actually been to China before, and has conquered it? |
The article never said that Diggins was lucky she wasn't wasting her time on the Olympics. Here was said in it's full and proper context.
"Dallas Wings guard Skylar Diggins was a finalist for the United States' Olympic team but her recovery from ACL surgery kept her from participating in the Brazilian games this month.
But Diggins is not wasting the month-long break in the WNBA schedule. Instead, she went to Asia to host an international tour with Nike basketball, the first female athlete to do so."

Nike isn't just selling to the small subset of the general public that women's basketball fans represent.

No, I said that. It's a good thing she didn't go to the Olympics, otherwise she wouldn't have been anointed "the first female athlete to host an international tour with Nike basketball".
I just find it odd that Diggins is sorta being touted as the face of international basketball after purposely avoiding playing overseas her first two professional off seasons.

I cannot wait until Diggins leaves the league. Somebody gets their grind on (and she's not the only one), and she gets snark.
"PR placed" articles can be annoying, but at least her name gets the Wings mentioned, particularly doing downtime, and during a crap season thus far.

Agreed. Diggins gets so much hate from fans (and players) simply because she is popular. People act like she is writing these articles about herself. I wish she would ditch this blackhole they call a league, collect Chinese coins during the winter and work on other stuff during the summer.

The collaborative brainchild of producer Crystal McCrary and Diggins, the cameras profile six members of the Sky Digg Ballers 11-12-year-old AAU team from South Bend, coached by Diggins’ stepfather Maurice Scott, on the court and off. |

WNBA.com list Skylar as diggins-Smith, I thought her and Daniel were engaged, I must have missed the wedding. |

It's great to see that Skylar/Candice are still friends despite everything that has happened over the last four years.

What happened? |
1.The Diggins & Wiggins show not living up to the hype in Tulsa.
2.Wiggins leaving Tulsa for LA.
3.Wiggins' premature retirement.
4.The 98 percent controversy.
