Great Decision by Durant Mr. Green

Looks like the Warriors losing the Finals was the best thing that could have happened to them. Idea

Now, if/when GSW wins a Championship ("not one, not two, not three...") it will be written up as being because of Durant. If GSW instead beat CLE, Durant would instead just been seen as a hanger-on to a title-team that didn't really need him.

Undoubtedly that must have played a part in "The Decision, Part Deux" Twisted Evil

Just like in the W... you've got to lose before you can win. Now if only the Storm could just stop winning games... Razz

I am happy about the signing as well. Shocked but very happy. Staying healthy through the season is important. It would be great for KD to be seen as a contributor and not a "hanger on" if the GSW had won this season.

I tip my hat to the GSW organization for doing what they felt needed to be done to keep them in the running for winning championships. I remember when that was not always the case.

I understand fans ire with KD leaving but burning jerseys? Really?

One can do what they want but KD was paid with the purchase so who is it really hurting when its burnt?

I wonder if they will act like Lebron's fans, should KD return to okc??? Razz

Great addition is right. He's better than Bogut.

Yep Razz

But at least the ownership learned from the mistakes of what Dan Gilbert wrote after LeBron left... Twisted Evil

Both the OKC executives left classy statements just in case KD returns. Idea

Yes, they did keep it classy Very Happy

While I am extremely excited for GSW, I recognize this is a huge blow to OKC.

Tim Duncan leaning towards retirement.

Quote:
San Antonio Spurs star Tim Duncan is leaning toward retirement, reports The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Duncan turned 40 in April, and saw his effectiveness decline over his last season, particularly during the playoffs, when he averaged the lowest minutes and points of his career.
