Was looking for you on TV. I saw Seth. And a life-size Taurasi cut-out poster. Was hoping to see you there, preferably with your shirt off.

What gives?

I was on the other side of the table. I couldn't be in any of the camera shots. Michael Irvin was standing back there as well.

Michael Irvin's quote on TV about Taurasi was awesome.

You didn't see this, but Irvin ran up and was hugging the life-size cutout of Taurasi. He is a big fan of Diana.

Michael Irvin is absolutely hilarious.... You should have seen him be the star in 'The Best Damn Sports Show Period' a year ago...

Football is out of season. GIVE THE GUY A COLOR ANALYST POSITION!

The Mercury's picks were very, very good. I am incredibly pleased with the job Carrie and Seth did.

Maybe, but I would have liked to see how Seth would have responded if Irvin was taken #2... I tried mocking that draft and couldn't think of anything viable Confused Once Tan White went #2, the Irvin pick was an easy and safe choice.

Kara Braxton would have been the pick had Irvin gone #1 or #2.

Maybe some people didn't see the episode, but a while ago when Taurasi was on BDSSP (MI was too) They were talkign about the game against TCU..and Diana mentioned Irvin (his niece) and about 5 seconds later MI figured out who Diana was talking about and says "That's my niece"...

Big gamble at #3, but I guess Braxton overtook Lyttle in the draft camp and it was better than taking White or Wecker and trying to trade them... That and I probably shouldn't talk about not gambling at #3... Damn Mike Dunleavy... Internal sources are already prepping his exit BTW... Confused

Braxton had a better camp than Lyttle, though both had good camps.

Yeah, that's what I meant to write. I edited it.

The W.com site should have better reporting on draft camps... Either in print or video. No doubt I would have also liked to see how poorly Dionnah Jackson did to drop from 5 to 13... Shocked

I wanted Braxton in Phoenix! Instead I get another Laimbeer/Mahorn in training!

The decision of Braxton vs. Irvin was a very difficult one.

From what I've seen of Jamie Carey I was glad Phoenix selected her. But what would her chances of sticking around be, Cam?

I thought Cam was hiding behind the Taurasi poster...

Couldn't hide behind the Taurasi poster. Wasn't big enough to contain my ego. Very Happy
