What about some of the unsigned Free Agents (Merlakia Jones, Stacey Thomas)? Do they become retired or camp fodder? Another silly question--Barbara Farris already wears #54--what number do you think Kara Braxton will go with on the Shock?

Free agents remain free agents until someone signs them. as for the 2 you mentioned, Lake will not be back with Shock and unsure about Stacey, her call.

...no "'Lake shake" in Motown this summer... Sad

I'm afraid Jones, like Stinson or Bolton is simply a victim of the economic realities of the salary cap...big $$$ veterans whose games have declined...Lake is only thirty or so, though, isn't she?
