NBA's best start at 15-0

The Warriors topped the Nuggets to tie the best start in NBA history, and they can have the record to themselves with a win over the Lakers on Tuesday.

Should be a no brainer.

12/2: at Charlotte
12/5: at Toronto
12/6: at Brooklyn
12/8: at Indiana
12/11: at Boston

Depending on which Raptor team shows up, they could be a challenge.

Their win today versus Charlotte makes them 20-0. Makes us wonder if they can break the 95'-96' Bulls record of 72-10.

They're going 82-0

They're 23-0 and survived their two toughest match-ups on their road trip versus Toronto & Indiana.

I keep looking ahead at their schedule to see who's going to possibly give them their first defeat of the season. Their next "test" will be Christmas day versus Cleveland followed by Houston on New Year's Eve.

Golden State's next 10 games:

12/11: at Boston
12/12: at Milwaukee
12/16: vs. Phoenix
12/18: vs. Milwaukee
12/23: vs. Utah
12/25: vs. Cleveland
12/28: vs. Sacramento
12/30: at Dallas
12/31: at Houston
1/2: vs. Denver

If anybody can shut this down, it'll be LeBron on Christmas Day.
They should do a special promotion. Golden State is Whoville, while LeBron is the Grinch. You're a mean one, Mr Grinch....

Their first loss will come at the hands of one of the teams we least suspect. When they have their antennas up, they do what they did to Indiana during the first half of that game last night.

One of those least suspected teams could be tonight in Boston.

It's uncertain whether Klay Thompson will play as the unbeaten Warriors attempt to reach another milestone Friday night against the Boston Celtics.

The injury isn't believed to be serious, but the Warriors could still hold Thompson out with the team playing consecutive nights. Golden State concludes a seven-game trip Saturday in Milwaukee.

Golden State has already withstood Harrison Barnes' six-game absence due to an ankle injury that will sideline him at least another week.

Even though they lost, the Celtics have a nice young group of players. They have a good future ahead of them.

Another tough game. Klay is back, but they're down at the half. Do they have another second half surge? Last game of a long road trip.

Streak over, and by the hands of Milwaukee (of all teams).

That's usually how it happens.

They're off till Wednesday. It'll be interesting to see what record they can muster at the All-Star break.

If you didn't know it, the Bucks also stopped the Lakers 33 game streak 43 years ago.

The fans came prepared and were not disappointed. Here's a small tidbit:

On Dec. 3rd:

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry predicts the Golden State Warriors will lose a game before the Carolina Panthers, the only unbeaten team in the NFL.

He just hopes neither will happen until February.

Milwaukee's D this season has been excellent. Too bad their offensive sometimes doesn't match it or they'd be a top team in the league. Congrats to the Bucks for breaking the streak. Now let's see if the Warriors can break the Bulls overall record.

so the Warriors were exposed last night in their beatdown vs. Dallas. A Curry-less Warriors team looked subpar against the Mavs. It's clear how much of an impact Curry has on the team. Without Curry, the Warriors are just an average team in the NBA. Golden State is listing him as day-to-day after an MRI revealed a bruise but no structural damage in his lower left leg.

so the Warriors are 48-4 heading into the All-Star break. 30 games remaining and they need to go 25-5 the rest of the season to break the 95'-96' Bulls record. Will they do it?

that's a tough schedule. Two games @ San Antonio, a 6 game road trip after the ASG, plus games against the Thunder, Hawks, Clippers & vs. Memphis(2x). A tough task to only lose 5 more games.

Well, that was not expected. Lillard drops 51 and hands GS an ass whipping.

the Warriors surprisingly lost to the Lakers today bringing their record to 55-6. The need to go 18-3 the rest of the way to beat the Bulls' record. Two of their remaining games are against the Spurs in San Antonio. Can they do it?

Today has to hurt their chances.
I'm sure they would have liked to taper off a bit at the end to freshen up for the playoffs, which could come at the cost of a game or two. The record would be cool but I doubt they would jeopardise the title for it. (or then again they might consider a first round sweep to be their resting period Razz )
