i am a huge Angelina Williams fan. I was hoping the Lynx would take her at 17. But I think with Batteast available, they made the right call. I really believe that Williams will be a good W player.
She didn't get much exposure in college because she played on a crappy team. Also, I'm not a big fan of coach Grentz... so I think that if Williams can get coached up by a good coach, she has some huge upside.
I haven't seen her play a ton, but in the games I've seen, I've been amazed. In the game at Williams this year, she had some of the most incredible offensive plays (drive, spin, score) that I saw all year.

yeah, you may be right. I haven't seen either of them play more than a half dozen games, so my feelings are pretty tentative. If I were deciding... I'm not sure what I'd do. Batteast is probably the safer pick.

I know less then zero about Williams, and I like Bell, but I would have taken Ashley Battle. I like her defense and her team attitude after 4 years at UCONN
