TRADES
Player New Team Old Team
Iciss Tillis Washington Detroit (April 15)

Makes sense to me... that way Laimbeer can take either Lyttle and Haynie... maybe Batteast for his backup SF... Idea

Might also mean that WAS is now going to commit to drafting a guard instead of a post... Out with Braxton, in with Dionnah Jackson again? Question

Looks like my analysis was correct... Arrow

Quote:
“It was a very difficult decision to trade Ice, but finding playing time for her was going to be a challenge because of the youth of our team. We wish her all the best,” Laimbeer said. “The 13th pick will allow us to add depth to the guard position.”

Don't count out Laimbeer taking Kristen Mann.

Not quite. Ivey was signed for the backup point guard position...Dionnah is a point, not a shooting guard. Now, if SFO takes a point guard (Jackson or otherwise), then your analysis would be correct.

Not quite. My analysis stated that Laimbeer now CAN take Haynie, a hometown guard, in addition to his presumed desire to also take Lyttle. And if Laimbeer ends up not taking a guard, he still made a move to put himself in a position "to allow us to add depth to the guard position.”

Iciss is gone? Well, I guess that leaves just one fashionista left. Tillis will be missed but I have a feeling that BL has more tricks up his sleeve. It would not surprise me if he went with hometown favorite, Haynie.

Oooh that's the best joke ever!! Sorry Duke fans... but that was funny.

And I wish Haynie was going to be gone by the Detroit pick because the Storm were going to take her, not the Liberty.
