And her son claims he suffered a "traumatic brain injury" that resulted in 14 days in the hospital.

The additions to their stories are just one of the significant problems Solo's relatives face in the trial. They refused to answer other questions in the pretrial deposition; they offered what Solo's lawyers called "scurrilous" and "malicious" allegations about Solo in an attempt to "intimidate" her before the trial; and they admitted that they destroyed a broom handle and a BB gun that Obert's son had used in his effort to subdue Solo.
