The answer right now is in Turkey with Mersin after she debuted today (13pts).

The update will be in the other thread tomorrow after the rest of the round's games.

I think she deserves a nickname so Tricia Liston will no longer be singled out so I am open to suggestions.

I suspect it won't be long 'til Jet comes in here outraged that Doneeka Hodges is starting....claiiming she is definitely NOT a PG, and if they would start Sammy, Mersin could overtake Galatasaray. Wink

I wouldn't go by that. According to the Abdullah Gul roster list, Lindsay Whalen is a reserve to a girl who is listed as a PG, but is really a 6 ft shooting guard. Eurobasket.com is very unreliable for positions and starters. It does appear Sammy came off the bench in the first game, but I doubt that'll be a trend though. She seems to have replaced Natasha Lacy, who recently left the team for some reason. She was a starter.
