So I suppose this is a stupid question, but if he loves the team so much, why isn't he playing for them. He must have had chance to sign with them after being traded to Boston.

He likes that his old coach Flip Saunders is back with the team. Also it's probably one of the cheaper franchises to buy, and he's familiar with the area.

Flip was dismissive of KG's remarks on the radio yesterday. The Wolves are not for sale, however Taylor did flirt with the idea of bringing in a partner who would have minority stake recently.

It's probably a glorified minority ownership deal... Similar to Chris Webber joining a group to potentially buy the ATL Hawks. Webber is a lot more personable than Garnett, though... And he doesn't own the award for 'Least Believable Excuse' of all time... Arrow
