Slipped quietly in as part of the enormous new TV deal the NBA has signed with ABC/ESPN and Turner:

Under a new deal with the WNBA, games will continue to be televised on ABC and ESPN/ESPN2 through the 2025 season. ESPN also will have enhanced in-progress highlight rights for the WNBA on digital and linear platforms.

yes, this is great news. But will we see more WNBA games on ESPN?? Still hoping the league can find another TV partner.

I have a feeling ESPN feels WNBA on the NBA channel is causing larger number of fans watching WNBA on ESPN. But this is good news.

I'm pretty sure this also means no more blackouts on LiveAccess for ESPN games, which is good. Idea
