GROUP C saw two draws today: Nigeria 1 - Mexico 1 & England 1 - South Korea 1.

GROUP D scores: France 5 - Costa Rica 1 & New Zealand 2 - Paraguay 0.

Next round of matches are on Friday featuring the United States vs. Brazil in Group A play.

USA defeated Brazil 1-0 on Horan's goal in the 82nd minute. USA is now in 2nd place in Group B.

yesterday's results

United States defeated China 3-0 and are advancing to the quarterfinals to face North Korea. Hosts Canada also defeated North Korea to sneak in and advance to the quarterfinals despite finishing tied with North Korea & Ghana at 2-0-1(goal differential advanced Canada over Ghana).

USA lost on penalty kicks to North Korea on Saturday eliminating them from the U-20 World Cup. Germany eliminated hosts Canada 2-0.
