Well that's it. She's going to be great then. Laughing

Odyssey Sims joins this elite group, and perhaps even more significantly, only Parker has scored more points than Sims in a game as rookie, as Sims scored just 39 points in Tulsa's loss to a well balanced San Antonio.

I do think that she might have a case. She would have to finish the season strong, and the Tulsa Shock stealing a playoff spot would not hurt her case. If she has another monster scoring game then she could overcome Ogwumike's scoring total and average. I think that it is no longer an open and shut case for Ogwumike.

So the players with three or more 30 point games have been all stars a combined 14 times, two time MVP award, Olympic Gold medals, with first and second team selections. Pretty much guarantee Sims will be great..

You know that she took 27 shots to get those 31 pts right?

Truth be told, it was actually 21 shots to reach 31. Then there were a string of misses as the game started to get away from Tulsa...

with Glory out and Paris having a very bad shooting night IM sure Fred was telling Sims and Diggins to keep shooting. Who else on the Shock would you want to take the shots??

Very interesting stat line for Jefferson with the 13 field goals made from 2 point distance...an area she struggled in mightily when the season began. Good for her. Hopefully this is a part of a consistent step forward for her.
