6'6" and talented huh? Surprised even with the question mark of coming over that someone with this purported talent level would last that long in the draft.

Brilliant move; she gets a little bit of experience, and time on her rookie deal gets used up.

Not every team was told she would come over this year (or even next year). Some were told she would come only in 2018...

Are you talking conspiracy here?

Just that she ended up where she wanted to end up.

She wasn't conspiring with any particular team(s). She just told each one what she wanted them to hear. It's not the first time this has happened and probably won't be the last.

I seem to remember someone telling all but one team in a dispersal draft that she was retiring...

Oh, that is so wrong. Worst than Cambage. Why she would want to be with SAN, I'm not sure, but I already have reason to boo this player.

Nothing to say it wasn't the truth as well, of course. "If you draft me, Team X, I have no intention of playing in the WNBA until 2028"; "If you draft me, Team Y, I might even show up this year." Not necessarily even any lying or misleading there.

If it gets a talent like Ndour into the WNBA quicker, and showing up on a regular basis, all the better.

Asya Bussie. IIRC, she was injured.

I don't know why the Lynx didn't want Astou Ndour or even Jennifer Hamson. I'd like to think there had to be some reason they drafted a player who wasn't even a lock to make the team (if they wanted/liked Asya Bussie so much they would've waited on her to get healthy when she hurt her quad in camp) instead.

Excellent news....*FINALLY* there's something to hope for in San Antonio's Low Post Dept.! Is there any inside info on why she delayed, or changed her mind about coming over?
