In a mild surprise, Florida isn't #1. And dark horse NC State isn't even in the Top 25.

And I will go on record that Brittany Duncan of Louisville(formerly of Valpo) will be the most important transfer.

Minnesota is 5-0 for the first time since 2003 winning the Tiger Classic at LSU this weekend. Included in the 5 wins is a 1-0 upset over #17 LSU.

Hopefully they can keep it up at UNLV next weekend where they will meet #4 Florida.

Go Gophers! Very Happy

Then you will like this. Not the official poll, but others are taking notice of Minnesota.

13. Nebraska
14. Oklahoma
15. Texas A&M

Georgia may be a bubble team to host. The RPI is 4, but the ranking is 18, and they are one of only 2 teams in the top 30(Auburn), that has a losing record at home. But you are right, half of the 16 hosts will be SEC/PAC-12.

The SEC tournament has been fabulous so far. The finals are tonight featuring the #5 and #7 seeds. I'm taking Kentucky to win it.

I'll be there tonight , since it's about two miles from where I live in Columbia , SC . The tournament has been fun . I'm a gamecock fan , but I'll probably pull for Kentucky tonight . They have a couple of girls from the state of South Carolina (Christian Stokes and Sylver Samuel) that have played well .

Minnesota wins the B1G Tournament over Michigan with a walk off single in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs! First Gopher title since 1999! Very Happy Long shot, but hoping for a seed. They were #17 in RPI before conference tournaments started.

Here is an interactive bracket, so you can look at any game, and go the the game center of which ever game you are interested in. I believe last year all games not on an ESPN network were shown live through the game centers on here, but I'm not positive about that.

Also I ready today that the Pac-12 Network will be showing the Oregon Regional. (It sounds like it will just be Oregon's games though)

Here are the Regionals on the ESPN networks.

Arizona State Regional - ESPNU
Florida State Regional ESPN 2
Alabama Regional ESPN 3
Oklahoma Regional ESPN 3
Louisiana-Lafayette Regional ESPN 3
Arizona Regional ESPNU/ESPN 3
UCLA Regional ESPN 3

I just realized I didn't post the interactive bracket I reference above, so here it is.

*************SPOILERS BELOW*****************

Today #12 Washington became the first team to advance to the Super Regionals, winning their Regional 3-0, beating Northwestern to advance. The Washington Regional started on Thursday to accommodate BYU who doesn't play on Sundays.

All 16 seeds have advanced to the Regional Championship game, with #4 Georgia being the only seeded team to lose a game, so Georgia will need to win 2 games tomorrow while the other 14 seeded teams will only need to win one game to advance.

For those who remember the 2010 WCWS when it seemed like everyone, especially Florida's pitcher Stephanie Brombacher, was called for an illegal pitch. It seems like it is going to be called again this year. I don't remember watch/hearing about many being called this season, I think Ally Carda was called for 4-5 all season, at least in all the games I saw this year, and they said today she was called for 4, and in the Florida State Regional South Florida pitcher Sara Nevins was called for 4 all season, according to her coach, and was called for at least 20 in just this weekend.

It will be interesting to see how much this continues with other pitchers going into Super Regionals and the WCWS.
