i have seen in a couple threads that Swin was offered 1 year, she wanted 3.
pokey wants to change the look of the team, and Swin doesnt really fit as a permanent PF.

does anyone know anything or have any ideas as to where she may end up???

-maybe SAN Stars?
-WAS Mystics?
-maybe CON Sun - kind of take chiney, thomas, etc under her wing?
-would she go back to SEA Storm?
-would she be a backup in PHX?

i cant see NY Liberty, i cant see LA Sparks.
i wouldnt think MIN Lynx, it seems TUL Shock is set with wings/fowards
i am not sure i see a need for her in ATL

YOU, if it finally gets rid of T Young. Wink

There's also this argument. If you believe Hammon HAS to be the starter at age 37 coming off an ACL, why can't you give a healthy multiple-champion Cash a three year contract at age 35?

She's apparently not interested in coming off the bench. Where else could she start?

New York
Seattle
Tulsa
Washington

NY is a non-starter thanks to her relationship with Evil Bill. I'd guess Tulsa is the most likely spot for her.

I can see her in CON gives them another vet to guide the young bucks. And gives con another Uconn factor that 80% of sun fans crave.

Would she be willing to think differently about that relationship for a three-year deal and the opportunity to be the final piece in a team that she could legitimately help to win?

She'd be staying in Chicago if she was up for that.

Where would she play if you already have Douglas, Thomas and Chiney?

If Cash leaves CHI, she likely wants to go to a team with a Championship's Chance and also has the ability to give her decent minutes.

PHO sounds good;
SEA always seems to have cap issues even when it seems as if they shouldn't;
LA is the opposite, always seems to have cap room when they shouldn't;

Then, there's a bunch of teams which can't offer what she would like, but can offer her that 3-yr deal. CON, WAS, TUL, who knows.
Shocked

But aren't they unwilling to give her the three years? Thought that was the whole reason she wanted to move in the first place.

Given how her game has atrophied since her Shock heyday, is anyone going to give her a 3 year deal?

Tulsa should sign her up asap, she's not as good anymore but she would be an improvement over Nicole Powell.

Cash is probably better than Powell. TUL-bound!
I'm not sure a three year deal would work there if they get KML next year.

Hmm with Douglas back issues it could be good insurance.

Well, someone gave up a second overall pick for her just a couple of years ago, so maybe.

Cash will sign with LA or Tulsa.And why is everyone projecting KML to play SF for Tulsa ? You already have a small backcourt with Diggins,Sims,Goodrich and Williams.No need for a undersized SF.she's 5'11 at the most.When she's in shape,she's a SG imo.KML needs to put down the pork chops.She's clearly a hard worker,but she needs to control her diet.

wouldn't mind seeing her in la. . although not sure how much PT she would get. . i would definitely see her as an upgrade over hoffman. . i would not, however, like penny toler to give her a thre year deal. . one preferably, two at most

agreed re: KML. . i know she has always been a bit "thick" but in the NCAA tourney, i was like "dayum". . no denying the girl has a great outside touch, but agree about putting down the pork chop. . LOL

You are saying this as Courtney Paris' biggest fan?

She's at least 6 foot. She's definitely not small. Our own Lynx reporter calls 5'9 Monica Wright an SF.

This. Since Detroit, she had one season where she made more 3 pt shots than any season before that or since. Other than that, she has provided some amorphous "veteran leadership." Meanwhile, during this time of declining skills and after her 3 pt shot had left for good, she was included on the Olympic Team and "earned" a Gold Medal from the bench.

Why does anyone care where she goes? She won't have any impact on team standings, except for maybe as "veteran leadership" (mostly on the bench).

Courtney is an embarrassment.I'm a huge fan,but I call it like it is.If she get's cut by the shock you won't hear any complaining from me.And HELL NO!!! To KML being 6 feet tall.I just don't see it.5'11 at the most.

i think Tulsa's the best option for Cash now. As far as going to LA; can the Sparks afford Cash?
