Interesting clip of an interview by Alan Horton of Taj McWilliams-Franklin. I hadn't heard that she'd gotten surgery right after last season, and that she isn't ruling out playing after she's completely healed.

Probably. He sounded like it wasn't out of the ordinary.

Rachel Jarry!!!

Just a note, but Jarry's scored a total of 12 points all season. She's got 11 so far tonight. Go Rachel!!

Jarry hadn't scored a point since June 21st.

I know Young has issues, but I would just as soon let her play minutes and hopefully learn something than to play yet another over-the-hill player in a game we're going to lose anyway.

Yeah, he's done it at least twice before this season (at least that I've heard).

Los Lynx have to deal with the Dark Angel and her evil invisible twin on Tuesday night. We will be visiting the Storm for a revenge match the same night.

I'd say this game demonstrates just how good Cappie is and her degree of importance.

I like how Jarry and Rodgers are getting the offensive boards. Our bench is killing them on the boards actually right now.

If only we could clone Alan 11 times, he wouldn't let them cut it off. Wink

yeah, only reason we got to see it on LiveAccess was because he asked over and over. I really don't see how another 3-5 minutes of a post game interview can't be put on LiveAccess.

Interesting quote from Bill after the game:

Quote:
`Overall we competed to a point,'' Laimbeer said. ``I was a little disappointed they left Maya Moore in the game to try to get player of the week again when the game was out of control.''

wnba.com was being nice w/only part of his reported quote. Will see what some of the reporters write but it seem he basically called out Reeve and put a bounty out on M. Moore for being in the game too long. If you can't beat 'em, then just hurt 'em Mad Not cool in my book Twisted Evil not cool at all.

Inflammatory quote from Bill Laimbeer after tonight's game: "I was a little disappointed when they left Maya Moore in the game to try and...

Phil Ervin‏@PhilErvin1h
...get player of the week again when the game was out of control. She should get hurt for that." #Lynx

Phil Ervin‏@PhilErvin1h
Just to be clear, Laimbeer was NOT joking when he said Moore should've been hurt for staying in so long.

Alan, if you're out there: Toni went to Oklahoma State. Not Oklahoma. There are places where them's fightin' words.

The reported quotes from Laimbeer are making me nervous for the game on the 27th.
