The first full length 9 for IX film debuts tomorrow at 8:00 on ESPN. Yes, the same time as Storm-Sky on ESPN2.

Dang!

I'll have to see if my DVR can record both shows at the same time.

However, I wonder if that particular episode (called "Venus Vs.") of the Nine For IX series will be shown again at a later date/time.

Venus vs. was pretty good. It might have benefited from being a little longer. They spent too much time establishing Venus, as if she was an unknown, and not enough on the actual prize money fight.

Pat XO also seemed too short for its subject. The 30 for 30 films were allowed to run as much as two hours. It appears that the 9 for IX are limited to no more than an hour.

When they talked about Dave Kingman in "Let Them Wear Towels" I was sure they were going to mention him sending a rat to a female Kansas City reporter.
