My guess is Atlanta and Washington will both regret trading away the #7 pick. |
Don't think many Styx fans are regretting it at this point. |
We'll check back with you after the season.

Also, the Sky already have a productive point guard in Epiphanny Prnce, so they’re less likely to target Diggins |
Um. We are watching the same WNBA, right?
EDIT: Actually, to be fair, I think the rest of the analysis on this page is pretty spot on. I could see the draft panning out the way the writer says. But... Prince? Rly?

Will Seattle really take Young? They already have Little. They need a Center.

If I'm Agler I'm thinking about 2014 and beyond with this pick. So I'm imagining that Bird and LJ are on the roster and relatively healthy, along with Wright, Little and Stricklen. Then they need a solid backup/6th woman type at any position, and someone that has the upside to become a legit starter in the future.
So in other words, I'd take the best player available...

I thought you kept saying that Was was going to pick Hill at 4? Or was that someone else? I doubt that the Storm are going to let Hill slip away if she's available. He showed that he likes Stricklen and Hill seems like a similar kind of player but then in a smaller SG kind of way

Does anyone think Laimbeer might go post/post at 5 and 7? Bone and Young or Bone and Hawkins and wait until #15 for a guard wing player.
Someone like Mathies, Bentley, Clarendon, Rodgers, Walker, Smith or Jeffereys is going to be there at 15.
If we keep Mitchell, Pondexter, Carson, Montgomery and Smith, and he plays Pierson some at the 3 and Nolan shows up next year we could probably afford to go post/post this draft.
