Arizona State up 29-28 at half time. I bet this game is a grind.
If Stanford wins this, I'd say the Pac-10 regular season title is theirs. Go Card! |

The Pac-10 season may still be ours, but we just didn't execute well. ASU, to their credit, had a good plan and they stuck with it. The key to the game, imo, is that Stanford didn't make its free throws. 1 for 19 is inexcusable.
That being said, Stanford still has a game lead over ASU, with 3 to play (1 away at AZ, then 2 at home vs WA and WSU). ASU's only chance is that we lose at home to Washington, which is conceivable, but unlikely.

Probably a typo, but just to be straight, it was 10 of 19. Not anything like
UCONN's 1 of 9 vs ASU last year.
Tired legs make for difficult free throws, or maybe it's something in the air.
Yes, it Friday, and I have nothing better to do:
Code: |
Opp avg FT% 1st avg FT% 2nd ASU avg FT% 1st avg Ft% 2nd
All 64 62 72 75
Home 63 56 67 76
Away 66 63 82 74
|
And, yes I took the average of the individual %'s rather than total FM/FA. I can do that
because I'm special.
