I know ya'll mostly talk NCAA WCBB here, but I'm a huge fan of NAIA hoops this year (daughter is on one of the top 10 nationally ranked teams). Here is a story about a player from one our conference rivals that I thought deserved some hits from other women's hoops fans. Awesome player to watch and nice to see "small town" girl get some national attention.

Thanks for posting the link. As a graduate of Division III Virginia Wesleyan, which is currently 16-7 overall and 13-5 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, I appreciate the game as it's played at the smaller colleges. One correction to the article: Rose-Hulman, where Suzy Carlson plays, is an NCAA Division III school in Indiana. There is an NCAA Division II program at St. Rose in New York, which is the possible source of the confusion.

Here is more information on Deb Remmerde, who briefly attended the University of Iowa before discovering she had a stress fracture in her foot and deciding to transfer to an institution closer to the home town in which she became hailed as the Hawkeye State's all-time leading scorer in girls' high-school hoops.
