It would be a novel idea, to actually show the game, instead of the stands, the coaches, the mascots and anything else, other than the game, I always like to watch the game when the game clock is running.

She has an increasingly common disease called Andrade's Syndrome. Symptoms include suddenly dropping to the floor, an uncontrollable urge to cradle your head or gut with your arms, a delusional insistence that you've been hit by someone wearing different colored clothing, and a contortion of the face to create a perpetual look of surprise or disgust.

And also, the look of extreme agony, when she is having an Andrade seizure, she normally has about a half dozen episodes during the course of a game.

Latta has speed I have not seen since the likes of Saudia Roundtree. She also has Iverson's mentality. When she's on, she looks great. When she's off, she is crying more than frickin' Sally Field.

It was painful to watch her play today. I can appreciate her cojones when she's on... but only if she's playing for another team. If she was playing for a team I support, I'd be baying for blood.

Chelsea Whitaker on Latta:

She flopped twice. I know when I charge, and I make it hurt if I am going to get a charge. She just flopped, and I guess that's what she thought she needed to do to win. And (the official) bit. She was laying on the floor like she just got her throat lacerated or something. I didn't touch that girl. I know when I foul and don't have a problem with it. But whatever. Who cares?

hmmm... possibly true. but maybe you don't say stuff like that after a win?

Is it just me or does Whitaker seem to... ramble a bit in that quote?

Still, I think it needed to be said. "Latta is a dirty flopper" would have sufficed (and inspired more internet forum threads!)
