Hey Pilight, question. This will be Katie Douglas' fourth appearance in the Finals (2 with the Sun and now 2 with the Fever). If the Fever lose, where does that put her on the list of most appearances without a title? Is this a record currently held by Becky Hammon or some other former Liberty player?

Douglas would tie Weatherspoon & Sue Wicks, as the only Liberty players to have lost in all four of their finals in 1997, 1999, 2000 & 2002. Hammon also ties Douglas, having been to the finals with New York in '99, '00 & '02 & with SASS in '08. not sure if anyone else qualifies or would beat Douglas.

Vickie Johnson appeared the finals five times. That's the record. Taj McWilliams will probably tie her for finals appearances this year, though obviously Taj has been on the winning side a couple of times.
