Don't really think she "retired", she resigned from the U.S. team. I believe she wants to coach Sweden--I think they host the next Women's Euro Champ. Expect her to be on the sidelines of Sweden very soon.

I forget where I read it, but I believe she officially starts as Sweden's head coach on December 2, not sure of the exact date, but the day after her contract with USA Soccer expires.
