Linda Hargrove was interviewed on the sports talk radio station in DC tonight.

Some things she said (paraphrasing):

It was a difficult decision for the team to trade CH becuase she's a great player and a great person.

CH told the Sparks she's not 100 percent sure she'll play this season, but Hargrove would be surprised if she doesn't.

Hargrove didn't want to trade CH, but CH was determined to leave DC, and the Styx wanted to do the right thing for her and for the team.

The decision was made a few weeks ago to explore a trade.

Hargrove is excited about what the Styx received in the trade.

Hargrove didn't feel that CH's desire to leave was because CH didn't feel supported by the franchise or the fans, but CH just wanted fresh start; Hargrove speculated that it might be hard for CH to feel comfortable playing in DC after what happened last year (abandoning teammates).

Hargrove said she had never experienced a situation similar to last year, when the coaching staff doesn't know what's happening with a player.
