Heck of a game, a lot of fun. Would've liked to have seen a Japan equaliser, purely because an extra half-hour would've been nice. For a final that good, I didn't mind having to watch most of the basketball semis on tape.
Canada winning the bronze game was daylight robbery. |

| can only imagine that Canada might have won gold as well if they advanced instead. Japan's defense wasn't 100% and Sinclair & Co. would have scored 2 or more goals vs. Japan.

Japan had already beaten Canada 2-1 in the preliminary round.
