Tbh i was expecting more from GB. With how they played against the USA and with home crowd.

I think putting points on the board consistently is always going to be a problem for them. They don't really have a reliable go-to option when it's in a half court game. Look after the ball against them and the battle is half won I think.

But yeah pls Carrie be carefull with LJ. She is already getting treatment.
But with how LJ is playing right now am looking forward to her return to the Storm Smile

She hasn't had to do much so far for these points - just hit her jumper (mostly after being left with plenty of space to shoot). But it's very pleasing to see it dropping like this so far Smile

What happened, what is she getting treatment for??

Dont know she tweeted about it. And she did return to Londen earlier with Batkovic. But she looks very good on the court

Thanks, hopefully it's not to serious since she is playing now.

Strange that O'Hea is hardly getting any minutes and Rachel Jarry is getting a lot of minutes.. And its not like Snell is playing well Rolling Eyes

Here she comes!! About time!.. Don't think three fouls should have kept her out this long.

Yeah, I have been a bit puzzled by the lack of O'Hea minutes too.
Snell will always get hers, but there's no reason we can't have both out there at the same time

I want to see more Bishop minutes. She may be a tad undersized, but she always plays smart & composed.

Yeah me 2 and she works hard every time. She can play with LJ, Cambage or Batkovic. Height doesnt matter much with one of those on the court

Confused because that's the best backup we have, or Confused because you think she should be starting?

Problem with that? She is playing better then Harrower at the moment
4 pts 4 assists and only 1 TO and playing some tough D
While Harrower has 5 pts 1 assist and 3 TO's

Great quote from Lisa Leslie "Lauren Jackson was by far the biggest trash talker I ever played against."

I dont get Carrie at all. Richards is playing really well and then she subs her out. She only played 14 minutes..

I get protecting Sam. She is fragile at the best of times and going into this tournament under an injury cloud, but surely MacLeod would be the obvious choice. The last thing Kristi needs is unnecessary minutes. She is 37 and spent most of the past season with injury problems too.

At least LJ has been able to stay on the bench.

and then she brings Sam back in? Weird.

Anyway Opals win 74-58.

I'll take it.

Yeah thats true. Im pretty happy that she only played LJ 20 minutes were she made 18 pts. They will need her to play more minutes against France and Brazil

Yep. I'll take it too.
Still can't stop thinking it would've been a totally different game with Penny though... First of many I suppose.
Thank you for the links too! MUCH appreciated!! Quite interesting listening to the two different commentaries. Laughing
